THE REAL DEAL, is an intimate profile of Larry Pardey created by Mike Anderson, a longtime friend. The crux of the tale is Lin and Larry Pardey’s voyage to and around Cape Horn, the “Mt. Everest of Sailing.” The film contains original at-sea footage, interviews with a variety of friends and associates, archival film clips and photographs. Much of the story’s narration is based on sailing writer, Herb McCormick’s critically acclaimed biography, Lin and Larry Pardey: As Long as It’s Fun.
