EPISODE 40: SALALAH, OMAN

The 4th season opening episode of Latitudes & Attitudes TV. Bob Bitchin introduces the show’s new co-host, Zuzana Prochaska. The cruising segment features the Abbott family on their catamaran, Exit Only, making a Middle East landfall in Salalah, Oman. A new addition for Season 4 is Yoga Onboard – yoga poses designed specifically for boaters by sailor and yoga instructress, Kim Hess. We round out the episode with a boat review of the new Com-Pac 35 and Bob’s “Attitudes”.

EPISODE 41: CORINTH CANAL, GREECE

Join Bob, Jody, and crew as they sail the “Lost Soul” to Mexico. Another cruising segment follows from Paul and Sheryl Shard’s popular TV series, “Distant Shores,” taking us through the Corinth Canal in Greece connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Other segments include Yoga Onboard with Kim Hess, a Miami Boat Show review of the Garhauer mainsheet traveler, and Bob’s “Attitudes”.

EPISODE 49: PITTWATER REGATA, AUSTRALIA

We begin this episode with a visit to Australia’s largest catamaran association at the annual Seawind Pittwater Regatta. Are you a Boat U.S. member? Bob takes a tour of the Boat U.S. headquarters near Washington, DC and chats with its president about the organization’s many services. EPISODE 50: ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES PT. 3

In our opening cruising segment, we rejoin the flotilla as they continue exploring the Caribbean waters of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Next, we join Distant Shores Paul & Sheryl Shard as they cruise downwind in the Aegean Sea for a port call at Istanbul, Turkey. EPISODE 51: EXIT ONLY INTO THE RED SEA

In the opening cruising segment, we sail aboard Bob Bitchin’s Lost Soul from Mexico’s Isla Isabella to Puerto Vallarta. Next, we rejoin the Abbott family aboard their catamaran, Exit Only as they pass through the Bab al-Mandab Strait and enter the Red Sea from the Gulf of Aden. At the Miami Boat Show, Bob checks out the Seafrost refrigeration system that’s available in air-cooled and water-cooled versions. On San Francisco Bay, we join Cruising World Editor, Mark Pillsbury and sailing photographer Billy Black for a test sail aboard a Catalina 445. We finish off the episode with Bob Bitchin’s “Attitudes.”

EPISODE 52: LESBOS, GREECE

In the opening cruising segment, we rejoin Bob Bitchin and his crew aboard the Lost Soul in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as they enjoy the resort’s many amenities. Next, we join Distant Shores Paul & Sheryl Shard as they make landfall on the Greek island of Lesbos.(Note: since this segment was filmed, Lesbos has gained world notice as an island of refuge and transit to Europe for Syrian refugees fleeing their civil war.) At the Miami Boat Show, Bob discovers a communications solution to assist with anchoring and when going aloft. This week’s boat review features the 36 foot Estero by Island Packet with a unique interior layout. The episode wraps with an installment of Bob’s “Attitudes.”
